Serves on Host development team and participates in all phases of the development life cycle. Analyzes complex business and technical problems and shapes and delivers the Company's new responsive web applications.

Analyzes, develops, configures and tunes the Company's web applications and is considered the subject matter expert on web technologies. He also enforces software development standards and mentors less experienced developers.

• Responsible for prototyping, designing and developing web applications.
• Coordinates with functional owners and end users to translate ideas, high level specifications into new or enhanced web application solutions.
• Mentor less experienced developers and provide guidance ensuring all development standards and practices are applied.
• Pursue continuous improvement in development processes, standards and quality.
• Coach, mentor and lead a diverse group of agile software engineers.
• Work with product owners across the businesses to understand market needs & vision; quickly translate that vision into demonstrable software.
• Quickly define and deliver working software prototypes.
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business and technical needs
• Communicate effectively both within immediate team and leadership.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams such as system engineering, product, UX, QA, etc.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Angular, HTML5, Java, Bootstrap, NodeJS, Spring Boot, Gradle.
• Responsive/Adaptive web development with mobile first design concept (desktop, tablet & mobile)
• Hands-on experience developing REST services.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, Javascript, CSS, AJAX, Jquery, Bootstrap.
• Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum or XP), continuous integration and version control.
• Experience working with near shore/offshore teams.
• Experience with TDD/UT is highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Highly proficient with Java, Angular, JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles.
• Hands-on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.),
• Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Boot.
• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
• Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
• Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
• Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
