QA Tester Engineer en Honeywell

Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex application functions in the within Honeywell. You will participate in the development and certification of product functionality across multiple programs. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business unit/function overall results.

Funciones del cargo

Design, develop & execute tests to ensure product verification & specification compliance.
Design, Code & Scripting to automate functional, integration and system level test cases.
Perform functional, integration, and system level testing to simulate customer use of Honeywell integrated voice solution and mobility software solutions.
Review specification documents change requests or statements of work to prepare test documentation and work effort estimates.
Participate in documentation & requirement reviews for completeness & accuracy.
Timely completion of verification efforts within defined schedule.
Generate defect reports when test specification is not achieved.
Create release media for distribution.
Provide engineering support to internal and external customers.
Effectively communicate issues cross-functionally and with project management.
Participate in the improvement of EVT processes.
Coordinate EVT test lab activities, equipment and tools.

Requerimientos del cargo

2-5+ years professional experience that includes a background in software testing, development and/or hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting complex custom solutions.
Developing quality plans, software test plans and procedures from requirements documentation.
Database driven client-server systems and database design (including SQL).
Functional / Manual testing
Jira
Confluence
Development and/or test tools experience (static or dynamic) preferred. Python knowledge desired.

Opcionales

Experience with Android mobile platform testing. Exposure to Visual Studio, Android Studio and/or Xamarin
based applications helpful.
Experience with Linux or Android based platforms.
