Back-end Software Engineer en TECLA

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Golang, Node.js, and modern backend development practices. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teammates to build, scale, and maintain backend systems that are reliable, secure, and well-architected.

• Build and maintain backend services using Golang and Node.js.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that follows best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architecture discussions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments alongside the team.
• Help improve backend observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features.

What We Avoid:

• Relying on others to debug or understand key parts of the codebase.
• Over-complicating solutions or skipping validation/testing.
• Designing systems without consideration for scale, cost, or reliability.
• Working in isolation without sharing progress or feedback.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Golang or Node.js (or both).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-based architectures.
• Exposure to CI/CD, containerized development (e.g., Docker), and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and contribute to team success.
