Funciones del cargo

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructures, primarily in AWS. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud and DevOps practices, proficiency with tools such as Terraform and GitHub, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructures in AWS.
Automate deployment and configuration processes using Terraform.
Manage code repositories and CI/CD workflows in GitHub.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Monitor system performance and optimize cloud resources.
Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and best practices.
Document architectures, processes, and implemented solutions.

Requerimientos del cargo

Experience

Minimum 3 years in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.

Cloud Expertise

Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
Exposure to Azure is a plus.

Infrastructure as Code

Advanced experience with Terraform (Helm charts is a plus).

Version Control

Professional use of Git/GitHub (pull requests, branching, workflows).

DevOps Tools & Practices

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Scripting

Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Languages

Fluent English (mandatory).
Spanish (preferred).

Condiciones

Location: Remote (LATAM)
Schedule: Miami time (Monday to Friday, 160 hours/month)
