About the role

  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that enable an easy and intuitive user experience.
  • Make strategic decisions about user experience related to new or existing products and functionality.
  • Execute usability tests.
  • Define interaction models, flows and interfaces.
  • Communicate scenarios (hypothetical users), experiences and interface design to team members and clients.
  • Develop wireframes and hifi with interface specifications for multiple devices.
  • Work with the team proactively, enabling resources and solutions for Frontend Developers, QA, SMP, Product manager, among others.
  • Create and improve wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and communicate interaction ideas using the previously mentioned methods. All design decisions made must focus on the product roadmap, as well as basic design fundamentals (e.g. color theory, visual density, typographic usage, etc.).
  • Continually keep up to date with the latest industry and technology changes.

What we are looking for

  • Someone in Mexico City in order to be able to attend to relevant meetings with clients.
  • Ability to support ideas, concepts and decisions to clients and work teams orally and in writing.
  • Experience designing digital interfaces for the web or mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma.
  • Mastery of basic concepts of visual and interface design.
  • Knowledge of benchmarking, competitive analysis.
  • Knowledge of usability, interaction and accessibility.
  • Knowledge of wireframes and storytelling of the designs to be presented.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CS3 and Javascript.
  • Creative ideas with thought to solve problems.
  • Time organization and project management skills.
  • Be open to helping teammates, sharing knowledge with them, and learning from them.
